For Shawn Rice, being a contractor has never been a side job.

Shawn Rice has spent more than 20 years as a career firefighter with the Lafayette Fire Department, where he earned the rank of Lieutenant.

Throughout his fire service career, he has continued running the full-service construction business he started more than 25 years ago, and today his son Mason works alongside him.
